Random Student Groups

Is there a way to put your students names in and have the program generate random groups??? This would be way cool. ????

Have you ever used Dan Bunker's random generator? If you search the forum for it, there are several threads about it. I use it to choose student's every day.

Also under gadgets and widgets there are spinners. One will go up to 33 pieces (I think). If your students are numbered, that might work. Unless you spun the same number over and over! LOL

In the classroom management resource pack, there are several "pickers" where you could put your student's names and choose them.

There is an alternative random name picker, which can be found at
http://www.myinteractiveclassroom.com/

When you visit the website, a range of products (some for $$, some free) appear in a horizontally-scrolling window. To find the Random Student Generator, you need to scroll to the end of the list of products, and there it is (for free).

In this version it is possible to add/delete student names on the fly (so you can delete a student who is absent that day, for example).
