Activslate Issue

I managed to register my Activslate (not an easy task - thank you Tech Support!) but now when I try to use the slate while I have my Hub connected for my activotes - it doesn't recognize my slate anymore. I can't "see" my slate in the controller screen to turn it "on"

any thoughts??

Is the slate registered on the same hub as the votes?

or is it an old style slate, did you register it before adding the hub?
If you click on the slate in the software do you have a menu option of type?
If so, you can click on this & change to RF & your slate might show.

The problem with registering was that I had the hub connected. I did not have "type" in the menu. I was able to register once I disconnected the hub - Tech support said that once I registered I could reattach the hub and it would be ok
however, i can only use the slate when the hub is not connected.

Any thoughts for how to use activslate and activotes at the same time?
