Hi all,
I have a problem with activhub. I'm using activote 2.4GHz. When I use Activhub with Winxp, ActivPrimary v3.6.14, Activdriver v4.1.13, it's ok. But with Win vista and the same version of ActivPrimary and Activdriver, it doesn't work
I don't know what's happen? How to fix this problem? Help me plz!

There should be no problems with Vista so I suggest you get on to tech support.

I am suffering the same problem with my Vista 64-bit with SP1. It cannot install the device driver for the Activhub. It works fine on an XP computer...

I'm not sure if this will work for you, but this is how I get the hub to work on my laptop. It seems like the only time I have problems connecting the activ hub on my vista 32 bit laptop is when I plug it in after I have connected via bluetooth to the Activboard.

If I disable the bluetooth radio, connect the hub (the green light starts blinking) and then turn on bluetooth and connect to the board, I have no problems.

EUREKA!!! I have found the solution. After much trial and error, I have found a solution!

First, I uninstalled the hub in the device manager screen since it showed up as a Human Interface Device
Second, I LEFT the hub plugged into the USB port even after uninstalling.
Third, I installed the most updated Activdriver (which I downloaded from the Promethean website) with the Activhub still plugged into the USB port.

And now I have the green blinking light instead of the evil red one. So essentially, I left the activhub plugged into the USB port the entire time during this process. I hope this helps someone!

Hello, all. What we've seen happen from time to time is that the drivers in device manager won't always update automatically the way they should. While Jason's method will most likely work, it's probably easier to right click on the device and select update drivers, then select the option that lets you browse to a location (This should be on the first window that comes up in Vista, XP users will first need to select No, not this time and Install from a list or specific location). Use C:\Program Files\Activsoftware\Activdriver\ActivUSB\XP.

Hopefully this isn't too technical for this forum, and likewise is hopefully a little easier than reinstalling the Activdriver.
