Has anyone ever used Google Earth or Google Gadgets? If so how did you use them? I have used Google Earth and I have added Google Gadgets to a webpage. Can you attach them to a flipchart?

I usually keep Google Earth in my third row of my tool bar (where the User Defined Buttons go). It works out really well, since it will open itself up from there...

Google Gadgets are scripts which you can embed onto your HTML or PHP web pages. Flipcharts do not have the capability of running this scripts natively. However,you can embed them onto a web page via an HTML editor and add them as a link. In this manner, you can simply open your Gadget with Activstudio's internal browser.

Google Earth can be used in numerous ways in your classroom. Personally, I use Google Earth in my mathematics classroom for determining distances and conversions, etc. I have included a few links which may be of interest:
