I have had my Activboard for a couple years now and just last week was able to get an activslate. I am having problems getting it to work. I have down loaded the latest software and drivers and still can't get it to register. Has any one run into this type of problem or know what I can do? It never displays a pin number for me to register.

Mr. S,

Is this a 2.4Ghz slate? If it is, make sure your Activhub is connected and there is a green flashing light displayed when it is plugged in. If not and you see a red light, then the culprit might be two things:

1) The USB port on your computer is not working properly. In this case, plug your hub into another port.

2) If you have the latest firmware update, then the hub might be defective.

When you plug your hub into your computer, on the Dashboard under the Configure tab, click on Register Activslate. You must then click on Register and a PIN should appear. Turn on your slate (small orange button on the top edge). With your pen, tap the orange flame on your slate until the display says Register. Tap your pin using the letters on the Activslate. Your new slate should appear in the slate console.
