Has anyone else found if they just start typing without a textbox, one automatically is opened. YEA![clap]

I suspect it is new in 3.7 I found it accidentally, but I am soooo happy about it!

Me too . . . makes things much easier. I'm looking forward to letting the kids try it in class.

3.7 introduces a bunch of enhancements to typing...

Check out the release notes...

But click and re-edit with the "T" selected...

Hatched border so you can drag and edit easier

Type to create text...

You can also set a background and a border on a text object from the editor - great for making clear 'stand out' labels for drag and drop activities.

3.7 text improvements are great.
I LOVE the ease of use regarding text now...[clap][clap]
