Append Text Issues

I have a true-false activity where clicking a button appends the text "true" or "false" to the statement.....but when we click, and the text is appended, the shape of the text box changes to be extra long and go right off the page. I would like it to stay the same width as it was before the text was appended......

What if you had it append an empty text box so your other one would be left alone? I did the first page, but if you'd like another solution maybe someone else has another idea.

I put a hard return (pressed enter) after the word leave, and added a space before "Not True." The lack of space made the line too long so it had to go where it could fit in... aren't we all kinda like that? :)

Thank you, Sean! I was trying to help Heidi figure that out for about ten minutes, and I honestly couldn't come up with an answer for her.
