I am using the forum to say thank you, thank you, thank you to one of our Promethean Planet contributors. I was working with a group of high school foreign language teachers last week, and we had noticed that there were not very many interactive flipcharts for high school Spanish on the Planet. In searching through newer resources today, I noticed that we have a very busy flipchart creator for this subject lately - Erin Melo.

Erin, if you read this, you have just made the day for a lot of Spanish teachers! Your flipcharts are amazing and I will be forwarding the links to many of the teachers in my area.

For any other teachers out there of any and all subjects, if you have taken the time to create a flipchart, please consider posting it to the Planet. I can almost guarantee that with close to 200,000 members, someone out there will find it useful, and hopefully they will reciprocate and create something you could use in your own classroom!

I agree, Kim.

Don't forget we will have a Spanish theme coming up in a few days (week or so?). When that is available, your Spanish teachers can find all resources including fliphchart, new resource packs and weblinks all in one place. (Obviously, they can still use the search engine as well.)

There will also be an article with further ideas and a video!

Will post more when it becomes live!

I have to agree with Kim as well. I was doing some PD the other day, and Spanish teacher was not having a good day and wasn't really joining us. I switched gears, let the all come to planet, and told her to look up Spanish through the resources. Luckily, the first 2 flipcharts were Erin's, and BOOM, she was sold...Ready to go! And then, just to put icing on the cake, I asked her what unit she was teaching with her classes, and one of them happened to be food (promise, I couldn't make this up if I wanted to), so I showed her Lisa's/planet's new Resource Pack, and all of a sudden, she was a new person. She was so excited to play around, and I really think she is going to use the board to create and teach amazing new lesson.

I am excited for her, and just wanted to thank everyone who helped change her mind about our amazing products!

And before someone yells at me, yes, I asked her if I could tell her story here on Planet, and she said it was fine!

The new Spanish resource packs are awesome! I work with a lot of Spanish/bi-lingual teachers in Texas and I know they are very appreciative!!

THANKS LISA:)[clap]:):D

...and thanks Erin - your flipcharts are great.
