Desktop flipchart problem

I'm having a problem with desktop flipchart. When I click on the button, I get the Desktop flipchart border, access to all my tools etc - but I can't write on it! I can click on the pen tool on the toolbar, but the cursor doesn't change from the arrow. I'm in Live Desktop mode and running the latest version (but this has been happening for a while).

Any clues?:confused:

oh, and it happens in a variety of programs.

Bizarre - it seems to have fixed itself! I've had this prob for a while now so v relieved.
I tried clicking on one of my images in the third column of toolbar to see if it would put it on the page. Once it did, it seemed to wake up and accept the pen etc.

Worst come to worst. Replace the Activpen.

Sometime it is just the pen.
