Hi all- just got our promethians running this week and I am so excited. I teach K and wanted to make a handwriting without tears template of the chalkboard with the happy face in the top left hand corner so the children can practice proper formation. My problem- how do I get my template to be permanent? Official training doesn't come for another months so I am experimenting.;)

Welcome to the forum and especially welcome to the world of Activboards.

In Activstudio or Activprimary it's pretty easy to save all sorts of things. For a template, create your page then save it as a one page flipchart or the page can be saved into My Page Library under My Resources.

While you wait patiently :D for your training, try the free online introductory course at www.prometheanlearning.com. Its all online and can be done at your own pace. Also look for the Activtips on Planet and there's always someone in the forum to help.
