View Full Version : Activotes not Responding

In one classroom, an activote set would not respond. It said the devices were registered but no responses were being received. I took the same set to a different board and registered some of the devices that were not working in the other classroom. They worked perfectly fine in this classroom! The purple flame was lit in both classrooms. Anyone have any advice?

Hi Heather,

It is so hard on the forum to offer advice on problems like this because there are so many things to consider: drivers, software versions, model of voting devices, anything else used on your computer, other systems used in school and so on. Although many people would like to help their set up could be very different to yours. All I would say is did you go back to the original classroom and try again? If still no luck I suggest you call tech support who are great at talking you through set up problems like this.

Like Lee said, it is really hard to diagnose this problem over the forum.
But I would make sure you have the latest software & driver. That can fix so many problems.

Thank you both for your advice! I did check for updates of the board and it said that no updates were available. I went back to the classroom and unregistered all the Activotes. Then I registered them again. It has been working fine for the past two days. Some things are just a mystery :)

Sometime it is just some software issue. I am getting used to see in star with I start my career in ICT. lol...
