Dashboard not recognising V3.7.18

I am currently running V3.6.14 and wish to update to current V3.7.18. The dashboard update facility indicates that my current V3.6.14 is the latest version. This took place on 27 Sept 2008.
How do I troubleshoot? I have successfully used the dashboard update facility for previous version3 updates.
HELP? IDEAS?

Does anyone know if you have to be logged on as an administrator for the V3 software update to work from the dashboard support tab?

You shouldn't need to be unless there's some network restriction on downloads.

I noticed the same issue when trying to update today. I think that it worked when I upgraded another machine a week or so ago.

Might they have disabled the update feature for some reason?

I am also getting the same message on multiple machines and was able to successfully upgrade on other machines last week.

With an admin windows login the check for update via the support tab on the dashboard is not indicating that 3.7.18 is the latest version. Something has not been set up correctly on the Promethean server I suspect.

I just read that there is a new version (V3.7.19?) being released on October 1st... Perhaps they shut off updating to prevent users from installing V3.7.18 which apparently has a problem with Activote reporting. We'll know tomorrow.

Where did you read of 3.7.19 release?

Tried to update 7 30 am UK on 1st Oct without success.

I think I'll phone tech support and post any findings.

3.7.19 is now available in the UK at least I downloaded it at 11.25 BST!

I am pleased to report that the dashboard support tab has now updated to V3.7.19.

Despite v3.7.19 being available through the support tab some weeks ago the Planet download page lists v3.7.18 as the latest version. Why??
