We have the latest software installed on a particular machine with a Promethean Board. When attempting to register the older style activotes (ones without the hub) they will not register. On the older version of the software 3.6 or before registration worked fine. Now with 3.7.18 they will not register. Any ideas?

Try updating to the newest activdriver, or another idea is to contact tech suppport :-/
That is an interesting one! I have not tried to use my old set with 3.7. I would definately contact tech support and see what they have to say.

I do know that once I upgraded to 3.7 my slate stopped working. I went and saw that it was no longer listed on the activslate controller. I tried to reregister it but it won't let me. I remember reading a post about how the older slate has to be set up before you plug in the hub and register the newer devices (in my case the expressions). I just haven't fussed around with it yet. I thought I had the newest driver but I will double check. I'm glad it's not just me.

Hi,
Currently, I am using AS v3.7.18 with Activdriver v4.1.14.20 working with Activhub(Non-2.4GHz) PRM-AH1-01 with firmware v4.03:0 connected to Activote(Non-2.4GHz) PRM-AV2A-01 and Activslate(Non-2.4GHz) PRM-RS1-01.
Both of the equipments can be register and use as per normal under Win XP SP3 environment.
Hope this information help you all to zero down the fault faster.
