what's the mistake -containers

Hi, I've attached this flip in which what I want is:
Two green boxes. The left one should contain the word "from"
The box on the right shouldn't contain anything.
But, as you can see.. I've managed to put the from in the two boxes even though I've set the second one to contain
nothing. And more... once I put the from in the second box, I can't move it out of it except if I put it back to the first box..
What am I doing wrong?
(I've already looked for a thread but no way)

did you move the object straight from the first box into the second box? Ie straight from the container into the one that doesn't contain??

If so, thats where your problem lies.

The system is set so that you can move an object that is set to return if not contained out of the container. Otherwise once you'd contained an object you wouldn't be able to get it out of the container ever again. So the first move you make out of the container it will allow no matter where you move it to. If you move it again after that then it will jump back, unless you've moved it back into the container.

If you look at your flipchart again, move it into the container, now move it onto the page & then move it into the 2nd object then it won't stay there.

I hope I'm right now otherwise I'm going to look pretty silly!!

Very interesting.

I moved 'from' to the bottom left of the flipchart and everything worked fine - the left hand box contained it and the right hand box rejected it. I've uploaded it again wiht 'from' at the bottom left.

Did you set the reject property while 'from' was on the right hand box? If the reject property is set on an object it will always return to that position, so the object needs to be at it's 'home' position before you set the property.
