We have a great technology initiative happening in our district, where teachers will be paid for using the technology in their classrooms. We have quite an investment in Activboards (1500 of 'em), so we want to present the information about this new program in Activstudio.

We're also using video of our Superintendent talking about how great the program is so I need to edit it all in another application (Premiere Elements or Pinnacle Studio), but when I use the Activ recorder and import it into the video editing software it doesn't show up.

I am about to try again (after Camtasia finishes rendering - trying THAT too), with my frames set at 29.97 just like the video editing software. Does anyone have any brilliant ideas as to what I can do to present a full-screen flipchart without it looking like dung?

Thanks a million!!

Sean

I think that Camtasia is one of the better ones if you are using a PC.

Let me get this straight, you are recording a video of you doing something in Activ Studio, using Activ recorder. When you record this video, you are trying to edit with your video editing software?

Correct. I am putting together a video that includes live conversation, plus a flipchart to share with 1500 teachers. It has to look great because we're promoting the use of Activstudio over PowerPoint, and PowerPoint looks good in video.

HI Sean
This doesn't directly help your technical issue but the reason Activstudio is better that Powerpoint is that the first generates interaction whereas the second only presents information, so if your superintendent is shown getting students involved in their learning should win them over.
Good luck.

If you haven't already found a solution I might be able to help...I have run into this issue as well. Here is a link to an explanation about what is most likely the cause of our issue. http://www.adobeforums.com/webx/.3bc11bfb
I am trying a few different codecs. I will let you know if any work.
