I have recorded full screen lessons on the Activboard with my PC. I recorder the video and the sound with my computer. I have experienced two problems: 1.) after about 5 minutes of recording, the sound is ahead of the video. 2.) after a couple of minutes, the sound becomes crackly.

I really like the idea of recording math lessons using the activboard and then posting them on the internet or put them on a dvd for students to watch at home (if they were absent from class.). I want to be able to record 20-30 minute lessons successfully.

Also, once I have the avi files, is there a way for people to view these videos over the web?

as for the problem with the sound & video being out of sync we found that changing the audio format settings in the screen recorder can help

We found that having it set to 24,000 KHz, 8 bit, mono, 23 kb sec & above is the problem is lessened.

Go to these settings by selecting the M button on the screen recorder & go to audio format. This may differ between different pc's
