I have just recieved my new activotes. I have been trying to 2 days to get them registered and named. 5 won't even light up-they told me to check the batteries-seems like a lot of $$$ to get equipment that doesn't work. 2 more will light up but won't register. One of these has the device number listed but under device name it has a funny little y with 2 dots on top. The other one has the device number but doesn't react when I try to name it or test it. I'm so frustrated I would just like to pack them up and ship them out! HELP!!!!!

I'm so sorry you haven't had a good first experience with Activote. The problem you are reporting is an unfortunate manufacturing issue we are aware of. As it is technical you need to go through Customer Support who will advise you of the procedure we have in place to deal with this. Customer support should be your first point of contact for all technical queries.
Once the situaton is reolved you will have lots of fun with Activote.[clap]

Margaret and Emma--Thanks so much for your replies. I am now in touch with support and we are working on it. I am still so very excited about my activotes and new slate-as are my 3rd graders who are all over me about getting them up and running! Will keep working and hope to be using them soon!
