Big Problem with Activote Software

Can anyone help??

I recently updated my software to V3. Now my voting programme seems to be adding up the scores wrong!!!!! The totals are different between the results screen in the programme and the excel page that I export for my records!!! Has this happened to anyone else???

Help!!! The kids are going mental!!!!!

Which version are you on? 3.5, 3.6 or 3.7?
Firstly I would upgrade to 3.7 if you haven't already.
You could also upload a flipchart with scores on it that are exported incorrectly & I'll take a look.

Version is 3.7 have clicked the update button and it says it is the most up to date:confused:

I had a quick look at this & it did seem ok. Can you upload a problem flipchart with results in it & an example of an export & I'll have a play around with that as I might not have had mine set up in the same way as you.

And another thing!!!!!

With 1 of my classes when I try and register each device to an entire class and 'select entire group' it says there are not enough devices. However if I enter them one at a time it is fine!!!!??? Why is that???

When I export the results from the flipchart you uploaded it gives the same results in the xls file as it did in the flipchart. Which numbers exactly are wrong (I am more than willing to admit I may be being blind here & missing something obvious!) Which version of office are you using - I am using office 2007 but can try a different version if you're having a problem on a different version.

Hi Louise,

check out the word file and compare it to the pasted results sheet on page 11 of the flipchart. It is definitelt very different!

I see where I was going wrong.
If you open up the results browser on the first page it matches what is exported. However, the overall results are changing on each page of results which it shouldn't do.
I'll have a look into it & let you know how I get on.

My result pages are different from the results that are exported to excel too! The overall scores change on each page - that does make the kids quite stressed. :mad: Any luck finding the problem yet?
