Many of my worksheets and handouts that I used to make into transparencies are in Microsoft Word, and many include tables. When I select a table in Word and paste it as an image in ActivStudio the table frequently changes dimensions, and loses some of its lines/borders. If I paste as text, it's not a table at all. Anyone have experience with this?

This is something that is not fun to deal with. However, if you use the camera tool to take a picture of the table you want to use, this is a very easy work-around!

Have you thought about just opening up Word, then using the Desktop Overlay in Activstudio to write over it? Then you don't have to worry about anything getting messed up when you transfer it into AS.

I paste as an image and it works great. Anything that has formating...... equations, tables etc need to be pasted as an image not text.

Hi, Cunningt.

Both Ben Posner and Scott Caulfield had offer you 2 different solution that you can over come your problem.

Of course, I had try the worst nightmare by drawing the table on a grid with "Snap on Grid" and finish it with "Grid Mask".

After working on it for hours, I learn my mistake well. Never should I do that unless, I had plenty of time.
