I am facing the problem in device registration from one ActivHub to another ActivHub.

Scenario:
I have to organise a online activote quiz for 47 participants. I have two ActivHub having 32 device registered on each.

ActivHub 1 : 32 Device
ActivHub 2 : 32 Device

I have to registered 15 device which is already registered on ActivHub2 to ActivHub1

Whenever i try to re-registered the 15 device from ActivHub2 to ActivHub1. It gives me an error that a few device name have been altered and it does not allow the renaming in the device registration program window.

Pl provide me some solution to fix up this bug. I have re-registered all 47 devices to Activhub1 but still cant able to rename the device.

I'm not sure what's going on here but I'll try to give you some clues.

The message regarding naming is not so much an error, just a reminder that if you have chosen to name the device you then need to press the button on the device so that the name is written to it. You may have done this - the message is just a reminder.

Once all the devices are registered to the hub there is no reason why the devices shouln't be named. You could test the devices to make sure they are recognised by the hub. Then use 'name' or 'name all' to name the devices. If you have no luck call tech support and you can talk them through what you have done.

Hi

We have a set of votes for each year level registered to the hub that matches that set of votes. We want to register ALL votes on a different hub so we can do things as a school in assembly. we are finding that by registering the devices on the second hub it stops them being recognised on the old hub...is this right? I too have tried to rename and am encountering the same problem as OP. The solution suggested does not seem to have worked!!!!
please help!

I do know they can only be registered on one hub at a time. I'm not sure about the other issue.
