When I use the calculator output to flipchart function, the equation appears behind the calculator. I don't want to have to move the calculator every time I complete a calculation. How do I get the output to appear in a different place on the flipchart?

Are you using Mac or PC?
I've found with my Mac, that it remembers where I "left" the calculator so I can move the calculator around anywhere I want.
Not sure how it "decides" where to paste the results.

 Sorry, but the pasting of the results is always in the same place

Interestingly, when I use the calculator, the results of "output to flipchart" are always just above the calculator, allowing you to drag the result anywhere on the screen. I tried it with both the adult and child version of the calculator in ACTIVstudio 3.6, same result

Hi
What I meant by "always in the same place" is that when you output, UNLESS you move the calculator the output will always be in the same place ie just above the calculator. The only way to have the output somewhere else is to move the calculator somewhere else on the page! +wave+
So therefore if you want to use the calculator more than once you will get "stacked" answers all just above the calculator...

Yep. Which I think is fine, the calculator can stay where it is al the time, and just put the output where you want it.

It is a bit annoying though as you will need to ensure that during the first output you will need to choose the select tool otherwise you will find it hard to move the first output.... Hope that makes sense... I think this is what Carol meant?
Anyway I hope between us we have sorted you out!! [clap]
