Religious Education: Creation Unit

Hello Everyone,

I'm about to start teaching a religious education unit on the creation story (for 8 to 10 year olds). Does anyone have any flipcharts, links or lesson ideas they can share?????

I didn't even think to mention that I am teaching in a Catholic school and am after resources for the creation story relating to the Genesis chapter in the bible.

Thank you for the resource you listed it will be useful towards the end of term when we are looking at the beliefs of other religious groups/cultures.

I did an advanced search using the UK/ROW resources and found 51 flipcharts in the subject of Religious Education. But I didn't specifically see one on Genesis.

There are also some resource packs you may find helpful.

There is one called "The Life of Jesus Christ" which includes some maps that might be helpful for this unit.

Hi Jacki.

We also did quite a good resource pack last year on 'Places of Worship' which features plenty of images, interior and exterior, of churches etc. Might be of some you use to you as well.
