I attended a presentation today by Ian Gilbert (independent thinking) and was really inspired by his ideas about creative thinking in the classroom. I decided to try one of his ideas about incorporating all types of intelligences in my next topic and have made a "wheel" of the 8 types for whole class planning. Now comes the stuck bit! :eek:The wheel and labels rotate but how can I get the children's ideas to rotate as well as we plan and write them on the board? Hopefully there is something basic I am missing and someone will be able to help.????

Hi Caryn,

I have had a look at your flipchart, it would not rotate, so I have changed the restrictions so it can only rotate clockwise. I then added some annotations to the wheel, drew an invisible box around the whole thing and grouped the objects. As you will see in the flipchart, I have been able to rotate the writing with the wheel.

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks so much Lou.[clap] I was using the xy axis to rotate using the "handles" - I forgot about the rotate option!!!
It works perfectly now if I re-group after each set of writing.
I am inspired again[clap][clap]
