Background problem

Anyone know why when I use certain backgrounds it does not fill up the page? Instead it duplicates part of the background to the right, as if it was tiling it.

Are these backgrounds that you added to your personal folder in the Resource library? If so, it probably has to do with the screen size vs. the size of the background you saved. If the background isn't big enough to cover the 1024 X 768 screen, it will tile the image in order to fill it up. What I do when I search for backgrounds in Google is select large or extra large images. That way they will definitely fit the AS or AP flp page correctly.

If you use an image as a background, you can set it to fit the page if you right click on the image and choose Fit.

You can change how the background looks
double click on the page & open up properties. View appearance & change the tile fit settings.
If you change it how you want it to look then open up your resources at the backgrounds page. Right click on the page & choose add to library/background you can save the background in this format & then you use this saved version in future it will display how you want it to.
