????I am very new to this. I downloaded the Summer Olympics Resource Pack and it listed that is would be indexed as Shared Collections/General, but I don't have a General category in Shared Collections. What am I doing wrong?

Did you install it yet? It will create that folder if you install it using the Resource Manager.

Thanks for responding, I am at a loss. Yes, in fact I have installed it several times, but there is no Shared Collections/General.

Have you re-indexed the library?

Yes. But, I finally got it to work by saving it to the Resource Pack to my desktop and then using the resource manager. I had been told to click download and then reindex, but I guess since there was no General, I had to use Resource Manager. [clap]

You always have to use the Resource Manager to install a Resource Pack. Otherwise it just downloads (usually to your desktop).
there is a little video about how this all works here:

Click on the tab "How to Install"

The only thing that I can think of is if you are on an network, and your profile settings are set up to look for the shared resources on the network and the the resource manager installed them to the hard drive. I have seen where this has happened in schools. I am not sure if this helps, but it could be the mystery. :)

When you install a Resource Pack it will create the category that it was originally located in if that Folder doesn't already exist.
If you didn't already have a 'General' category, installing the pack will create that anyway. You don't need to do anything - that Folder will be generated during the Importing process.
Hope this is helpful.
