Okay, I have a teacher who is having a difficult time with ActivStudio and is ready to just put the ActivBoard aside. She didn't want the ActivBoard to begin with (Crazy I know) but I've really tried to turn her on to it. She just keeps having problems though. Here is her latest problem and I'm not sure what is going on. Whenever she opens ActivStudio, the main toolbar goes away and so does her dock. This is a problem because she doesn't understand that CommandN will open a new flipchart. I know a few of the keyboard shortcuts so I can help her, but it is really difficult to function without that toolbar. I have tried changing her monitor settings (thinking it may simply be off screen) but that didn't do anything. I've tried restarting the computer and completely closing down AS. Any help or any idea as to why this is happening would be great! I'm hoping it is something simple that I have overlooked. Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure in the studio settings there is one you choose to make the toolbar "always on top". Is it hiding under another application?

Good luck!

The top right button on the main toolbox is a toggle that turns the menu bar and the dock on and off. If the button is pushed in, the menu bar and the dock will be visible. To turn them off again, push the button and they will disappear. I've attached a screen shot to show you what I'm talking about.

I hope this helps!

June,
I will look at that when I get to school tomorrow. I did it on my home computer and I think that is what is going on. I knew it would be something so simple that I would overlook it. Thank you so much!
