My flipchart isn't working for other users. Why?

I posted my flipchart on a chatboard and everyone who is uploading it cannot get some of the actions to work. The thing is, I can get all of them to work on my computer. I even downloaded the chart off of the site just to see if it did not transfer over. But it still worked for me and not for others.

I used the transparency action to get objects to disappear on about 15 items. Those who are downloading my flipchart say they have their actions on and when they click on those objects, nothing happens. But other actions on my page like page notes and ticker tape do work for them.

The only thing we could think of is that I have the newest version of ActivStudio and they do not. Could this be the problem? ???? Or is there something else that someone here may know of that is causing this? Scratch that...someone updated their software and still cannot get the transparency action to work.

I submitted it to PP and am worried that if they accept it, it won't work for people who download it.

The easiest thing would be for you to submit it here or tell us which one it is so that some of us can download it and have a look. It could be anything ....+wave+

I am going to attach it here b/c I just submitted it on Friday, so it could be awhile before it ends up on PP.

I hope we can figure the issue out, so I do not mess up the rest of my flipcharts. This one that I am attaching is the first I ever made (I have others in the works, but they are not done yet).

Actions do not seem to be working for me either..... Hmmmmmm I have tried the Action "translucency" myself. Maybe if you used more translucent it would work?

I agree with Holli. Try the "More Translucent" function. When I changed your actions to that one, they worked fine. Also, since you said this was your first flipchart check your screen size. It looks like you might be creating on a wide screen, which is fine but when it shows up on the board it will have a border (called a world) on the top and bottom of your page. I only tell you this because it drove me bonkers when I was first creating flips until I changed my flipchart settings. By the way I like your idea of a classroom floor plan for a flipchart, I may have to do one myself. :D

Thanks ladies (gents?) ;). The fact that you changed it with the more translucent action and then it worked makes me happy! I will pass that on to the other teachers on the chatboard I posted it on. I will let you know if they say it works.

Thanks again! I am glad you like it...it was a bit of a pain to line everything up, but I like the way it came out.

By the way, I am using it on Meet the Teacher Night/Back to School Night. It says so on the page notes, but I will have a sheet of questions the kids can use to find the answers. I will let them play with it while I am talking with parents and those who can't come that night can play it some time on the first day or during the first week of school.
