I'm looking for great resources to gather together as a theme about Shakespeare. I've found several really nice flipcharts already submitted but was hoping that teachers might have some they haven't yet submitted and would like to share!

Also, if you know of any excellent websites that would be especially good (and hopefully interactive) with activities, quizzes etc that could be used as part of a lesson on an Activboard, please do share!

Thanks in advance!

Hi Lisa

I'm currently putting some more literatrure resource packs together and I made this flipchart to illustrate ideas for their application. It uses one of Shakespeare's sonnets as an example amonst other things.

It's used to describe rythym/meter and structure in poetry and verse (use it to explain iambic pentameter etc.)
10 flipchart pages with page notes - use as is or take what you need :).

Philip,

That is a great flipchart. Have you submitted it to Planet yet?

I need a pair of eyes to look at a flipchart I have made.

It includes several types of activities for exploring Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.

I was wondering if anyone could look at it and see if is works well on Mac AND PC especially the text. (I made the fancy text be images with the camera tool in case someone didn't have my fonts but there are other texts used as well that I kept as text.)

And...I'm confused about the ability to set a page to automatically have the reveal tool "live." I know that's not a "feature" for the Mac so I had to do that part on the PC but when I take the flipchart back over to the Mac, that doesn't work for me. But it WAS working on the PC. Should it be working on the Mac? I thought it would.

I've tried setting up the reveal tool to be set automatically on the PC, and then moving the flipchart to the Mac, but it's never worked for me. :(:(

:(:(:(

Oh, well, I guess I'll have to insert a special "turn reveal on first before turning the page" into this for Mac users!

Thanks!

Hi Lisa

I've passed the flipchart over to Liam along with 20 poetry resource packs covering many great poets including Shelly, Keats, Coleridge, Browning, Milton etc.

I've attached an example pack which is mapped to the UK library structure.
