Having problems

I have the newest version on Activstudio Mac Version. I am having trouble editing lessons that I have downloading off of the planet. It's like all the text objects are locked or something. I am in design mode and have made the selection to let all locked objects flow freely. I have tried clicking on the text with the marque tool and the text tool but nothing seems to work. I have also tried to draw the imaginery boxes around the text object to select them. Nothing is working. I'm very frustrated. Please help.

It could be that the text is not actually text. Sometimes, if I use fancy fonts, I actually capture it with a camera and make it a graphic so it can look pretty for others.

Which flipchart it is? I'll be glad to check to see if there is something special about the text in this flipchart. (You can post it here on the forum if you wish.)
