I am trying to get money from our PTO to purchase activotes for my class room. I have an Activboard +2 which was installed in January. I have the pricing for a set of 32 activotes. Will it come with everything I need?

You should get the 32 voting systems + software + CD of resources. The resources are good to get you started but I would also suggest you do a search on Voting flipcharts people have submitted. There is also a great deal of info currently on the Planet Forum if you search 'ActiVote' or 'Voting'. HI Donna

If you already have the latest software for your board, you won't need to install the software that comes with the Activotes.

In preparation to make sure you are ready it is worth running a software update check to make sure you are on the latest software.
I'd also check your driver too - the latest is 4.1.13. Always a good idea to have the latest of everything.

How do I go about updating my driver? I checked and mine is 4.1.12.14. Thanks for the help.

Hello, Donna. You'll go into your control panel and look for either Add/Remove Programs in XP or Programs and Features in Vista. Once the list populates, you should see your Activdriver near the top of the list. Ensure that your board and other Promethean hardware is disconnected, then click on the button to remove and follow the prompts to remove the driver. Once the old driver is removed, find the latest driver at our Prometheanworld.com website, under support. Download the 4.1.13 driver and run the file once it's downloaded. Follow the prompts to reinstall the driver, then connect your hardware.
