ACTIV08 Boston

sorry I know that it is only a couple of days away, but I am toooo excited now that it is finally here. I haven't been to any of the ACTIVconferences yet. I'm the only one from my district going so no one to share my excitement with :(and I knew that if I would feel some excitement fro others here (hopefully...) Anyone going??

I am [clap] and I can't wait. I went to Sarasota and it was fantastic. I hope this one lives up to my expectations. I know at least a few of the famous UK folks are going to be there, along with other Promethean people I've grown to love. It's both entertaining and incredibly informative.

I'm from Houston, so you would think I went to the conference when it was in Houston two years ago, but we got them last summer so this has been an exciting year with all the new technology and also a LOT of making flipcharts, but I got addicted so it wasn't so bad [clap]

I am so glad to hear that others are just as excited to go to Boston as I am. This is my 3rd ACTIVconference and I can't wait. I have never been to any other professional development conference where I have learned so much and been inspired by so many people. I am convinced that there is nothing more encouraging and gratifying than talking and listening to other ACTIV users.

I really think our name tags in Boston should list our Planet names so that we could recognize each other. I would love to meet all of you! See you in Boston!+wave+

This was my first trip to Activland and my experience was Ohhhhh, so grand

Joquetta- Welcome to ACTIVland! I believe you are an ACTIVaddict in the making. :D I'll be looking forward to hearing about your new adventures and seeing you at future User Groups.

Heathermcc: As Ben said give it some time for flipcharts to be uploaded. Some of us were working in the hotel room until the late hours before our presentations to tweak. But you could always contact the individual presenters (if you have contact info) if you have any questions or comments, we always love to hear from the attendees.

Ben and Heather, I had SOOOOOO much fun presenting with the 2 of you! In fact, I would have to say I've never had as much fun presenting.

For those who haven't seen it, there is a picture of the back of the Activaholic t-shirt that Mark Robinson posted on the Blog. The front of the shirt simply says "I'm an ACTIVaholic!"

HI All,
I am so, so jealous of you all!!! I was in Sarasota and loved it so much. I just could not swing going to Boston :( I really tried to find a way to go, however, after train the trainer class, on-line classes, and visiting our daughter in Missouri, I just could not swing the price. I was the only one from my district who went to Sarasota, but everyone was so nice and I met so many great people. Ben and I were on the stage together at one point telling about our on-line experiences! Kathy Booth kept an eye out for me and gave me a great big welcoming hug! I hope you all have a fabulous and safe trip and let me know what you learn!!! I so, so want to be there with all of you, but will be there in spirit. Enjoy the conference. :D
