I wonder is it right for Activote 32 (2.4GHz) come with Activstudio 2.5?

I notice that most of the new Activboard has new package. It come with the latest software CD: Activstudio 3.6 or ActivPrimary 3.6.

Wonder how come the Activote 32 (2.4GHz) still coming with Activstudio 2.5? Will Activstudio 2.5 work with the new Activslate (2.4GHz)? :confused:

It depends on which version of 2.5 you have.
If you have 2.5.143 or 2.5.146 then the 2.4 votes will work.
Anything earlier than that won't work with either the votes or the slates.
2.5.146 is the version that should work with the 2.4 slate

Hi David,

It might just be that whoever you bought the votes from had the older version of ActivStudio in them before the newer version was released. When we got the last lot of our boards they had an old version of AP with them, and when I enquired why, this is what they said. I spoke to Promethean and they shipped out a new copy. I had to then go round and update every machine (!) but I still feel it was worth it. Did you buy them recently? If so, talk to the person you bought them off.

I being buying number of sets of Activote 32 since last year May till now. The last unit I had is at March 2008.

What worry me is when my trainer use only Activote and Activslate only. They will only running on old software compare to the latest.

Even update only provide a lesser feature compare to installing from the AS V3.6.14 or AP V3.6.14.
