Number line, coordinate plane background?

Is there a coordinate plane or number line that I could download for my activeboard? I'm new to this and have been poking around, without luck. Thanks

Hello Drosen,

Try a search of your resource library. When I searched number line it came up with quite alot of choices.

There are also number line backgrounds located in the shared flipchart pages section under Secondary Maths. I also found some Grid backgrounds here. Is that what you mean by coordinate plane backgrounds?

Where are you from? If you are from the US, I can tell you specifically where there are some great number lines and coordinate grids in the US resource library.

I just did a search for flipcharts on Planet (US) and found 29 flipcharts using the search term "coordinate!"

I also searched for "number line" and found 202 flipcharts!!!

This may be even more helpful to choose a few of these to look at as the flipcharts are already done and you can use the pages you need to create your own!

I was fortunate enough to see an AMAZING presentation at Activ'08 in Sarasota about integrating math with the ActivBoard. If you are interested, you need to check out Mike Evan's presentation called "Mastering Math (http://www.prometheanplanet.com/us/server/?search_word=mastering+math&show=nav.5882&contentType=conMediaFile&catId%5B0%5D%5B%5D=5896)." You will find amazing ways to create a coordinate grid, or you can just copy and paste Mike's grids!

For Number Lines - Shared Images > Math > Number Lines
