Can someone tell me how to fill just one item with the paint can?. Example: I have the 50 states on a map and I want to just fill North Dakota with the paint can? Thanks

You can not just fill one state with the paint bucket if it is a picture/background of the USA.
1. First, drag the USA map from the resource library. Right click and send it to the background.
2. Next, drag North Dakota from the shared resources.
3. Change the color to white (or set it to transparent) and move over North Dakota on your background. (right click to lock it to prevent being moved by accident).
4. Now, you can switch to paint and have students/teacher change the color for North Dakota.
Attached is the action.

Great idea - you can only fill indivdual objects - like the individual states.
The paint can is a great tool! You can paint indivdual words in a sentence by clicking on them with the paint can. This is a great way to highlight key words, vocab, etc.
Enjoy!
