Printing in landscape?

I had Actuvstudio PC version and was able to print the flipchart onto a landscape A3 piece of paper. This was fantastic as I could put stuff straight up on the wall. Now I have the Mac version and I cannot figure out how to get it to print landscape, and how to enlarge it to A3. It is like the options just aren't there. Does anyone know how to fix this? I would really appreciate it, because the little printing is driving me crazy.

When you go to print, pull down the menu bar that says "Copies & Pages".

There are a bunch of printing options. Try Layout, I think it is what you are looking for. You can also hit "Preview" before you print, to make sure you are going to print what you want.

I think you have to start by going to Page Setup, and changing to Landscape mode there. Then, as Scott says, you can adjust other parameters in the Layout tab of the Print menu.

I've been printing in landscape successfully from my Macbook but the downfall is I have to ALWAYS change the orientation whenever I print it again. I save my flipchart changes but it doesn't save the page orientation. Bummer! :(

Once you have set up how you would like to print you can save it as a preset under the Preset menu on the Print dialog window.

This way you can set up several presets - say one for printing landscape, one for portrait etc so they can be easily accessed from there rather than having to change the settings each time!

Thanks for the replies. I was aware of the page layout part of the printing box, but not aware of changing the page setup on the flipcharts. There is still no option for printing in A3 - any more ideas? Thanks

I misinformed you about saving the presets as the portrait/landscape options are under File>Page Setup instead of File>Print.

There is an option in the File>Page Setup to save the current setting as default so that it remembers that you are printing portrait/landscape.

To print to A3 go to File>Page Setup and select A3 from the Paper Size

Then in File>Print under Layout ensure that you are printing 1 page per sheet, this should automatically scale the flipchart to the size of the paper.
