Does anyone know if there is a kid friendly calculator that is available for ActivStudio. I went into power tools but all I saw was the floating one.

I am doing a lesson on money/making change for third grade and I was really looking for a more "kid friendly" one we could pull up.

Or any other suggestions on how to use the board with the making change, etc.

Thanks.

If you right click on the calculator you should get a more child friendly option.

Have you tried that yet?

No problem. It's not obvious unless you know it's there. When I first got started, I always found "when in doubt, right click on it!"

Speaking of calculators and right clicking. When you have the adult calculator open (on the Mac side), if you want to paste the equation onto the page, just right click (Control Click on the Mac) the calculator, and it is one of the options.

If you right click on any tool, it will bring up a help file for that tool. Lisa is right, when in doubt Control/Right click!

Scott,

Thanks for reminding us about that tip! I had completely forgotten that this was an option!

I love being able to page results from the calculator. Actually, it pages the entire entry, I think, which is even better!

Tip of the Day!!!:p
I tried pasting results from the calculator the other day and nothing pasted. I was so annoyed!

But then I saw that the last time I had typed text, I left it with "white" text so my results actually WAS there. I just couldn't see it.

So I typed something else with the text tool and made it a color.

THEN, then next time I used the calculator, it used that font, size and color. [clap]
