View Full Version : Looks different in Flipchart viewer

I created a flipchart that I want my students to play around with. It basically has some terms written in black on top of a yellow sqaure with the answers written in yellow so that they are hidden. When they drag the question to the red part of the chart, the answers "magically" appear. It works fine in AS, but when I open it in flipcart viewer, both colored shapes are white and all the text can be seen. Any ideas why it would look so different between AS and Viewer?

Are both on the same pc?
This sounds like a font issue. Flipcharts do not embed fonts and so if you have used a font on one machine which is not present on the second one, then that might be your problem....
If this isn't the issue - can you attach the flip so others can "look" +wave+

Its not a font issue. The color of the shape is not there. I will attach the flipchart so you can see what I mean.

Hi Dave
I can't be of a great deal of help I'm afraid but I can confirm that I have got the same results as you. I am using a PC version at the moment but as you say, once I open the same flipchart in the viewer the coloured backgrounds do disappear.
Therefore it's not just you!

Hi Dave,
I saw how your flipchart was whitening out with your colored boxes. I downloaded the viewer to work with it. Now, I am on my pc, but your problem was still evident.
I created new boxes, layered them on the background, and now it works correct (on a pc viewer that is).
Hopefully, it will work on your mac viewer.
Please try and let me know.

I will give that a try and see if that solves my problems. Thanks for the input.
