Hi all,

I am wanting to use an action to stretch shapes, incrementally. I can do this without a problem - click on a shape, and it stretches.
My problem is that, if you click the shape several times, the shape not only stratches, but creeps along the page.

Have a look at this flipchart.

Why does it do this?
Can I stop it doing this?

Cheers

Craig

HI Craig.

Very odd. I've set up a square from the library on the second page and it seems fine. In the object edit panel, your object is called an object shape, whereas mine is an object square, so I wonder if that's made the difference. The rectangle also shows no problems. The only option I can think of is different software versions. I'm on 3.6.14.

I am on 3.6.14 too, but I might have just had a thought...

I used a fill to create the square. Does the fill have an outline (albeit, an invisible one). If so, this outline will stretch too. The gap that is appearing is the stretched outline.
You used a shape from the library, which perhaps doesn't have the same outline?

Might that be it?

Hi Craig
It's quite bizarre. I've just created a square outline using the pen modifier tools and filled it. It seems to work fine. Did you use the shape recognition?

No, I used the Pen Modifier Toolbox to draw a square, then filled it. It's the fill that is stretching...

I can recreate this on my pc, not as dramatically as yours admittedly, it looks like a bug, I'll get it raised.
