adding a question on a flipchart page

If you are in the middle of a flipchart and you want to insert a question with the correct answer, how do you do this?

Start by laying out the page as you would like it to appear. Try to have a separate text object for the question and each of the answer choices. You can also have images, and anything else that you would normally put on a flipchart page. Then, click on "Activ" at the top of the screen, and select "Question Settings." A dialog box will appear, where you can indicate how many answer choices there are, what the correct answer is, and how long you want to allow for the students to answer, among other things. June may have already answered your question, but I read it differently. I thought you might be asking about adding a page into the middle of an existing flipchart. If so, you can add the new page at the end of the FC (using Junes directions) and then click the "page organizer" button on the right side of the screen. Here, you can quickly rearrange the order of pages, duplicate and delete pages, etc. Clicking the same button brings you back to the usual page view.

With newer versions of the software, you can right click on a page and choose Insert New Page and then you get the choice of Before or After Current page.

Plus, you will find that there are some nice "question templates" in the resource library. Try looking here:

Share Pages/Flipchart Builder
(This is the US library...could be different for other countries.)

If you drag a page template out, it will add that as a page and then with the page organizer you can put it in the order you wish.
