FC saved in Activstudio become primary

I need help to figure out why if I save a flipchart in Activstudio 3 it saves as a Activprimary flipchart. It also happens when I download any flipchart from Promethean planet, it is a pain because then I have to set them to open with Activstudio. I am just begining to use version 3.

Thank you Sarah, I think that is the reason and I guess I will have to live with it. It is a pain to have to change everytime and I don't use primary that much but I do not want to uninstall it.

Whichever program you loaded last will be the default "opener".

You need to tell your computer to open with... Go to Folder Options in Control Panel and then click on the file types tab then select Activstudio as the program to open any Activstudio file.

Another idea to try is to go to Activstudio settings then General and click to Restore File associations.

This is not something that has to be lived with, the above solutions fixed mine.

Hi Nancy- not sure if this will work, but my kindergarten team and I were having trouble because some of our flipcharts where made in 2.5 and now we are using 3.0. A colleague said to open up 3.0 first. Then go to open flipchart. Find where you saved the flipchart (i.e. on your desktop or in my flipcharts) then open it from there. It should open your flipchart in 3.0 not in ActivPrimary. I hope this helps.
