Dock Won't Come Up

Hi Everyone;

Information:
Problem has occured on the last three MacBook pros after upgrading to 10.4.11.

AS version is either AS 2.5 (latest) or AS 3.x.

Dock is set to "Turn Hiding On".

Problem

After upgrading the operating system to 10.4.11, on each of these Macs, the dock will not come up when using the ACTIVboard. On the Mac, when I place the mouse all the way at the bottom, the dock comes up no problem. But when I use the board and bring the pen all the way down, not only does no dock come up, but the mouse pointer of the pen ends up top on the menu bar instead of staying on the bottom where it would bring the dock up.

What am I doing wrong?

This has happended to me many times... I don't believe there is a problem with your board, or your software... You see... the board and pen are not designed to "hover" like it would on your computer with your mouse. Now please correct me if I'm wrong, thats just what I think the problem is. Josh Lindsey

The pen should be ale to hover in the same way as the mouse.

The pen can hover the same way as your mouse.

Is the projected image slightly on the plastic edging of the board? Try moving the dock to the left side of the screen and see if that works better.

Glad/sorry to know I'm not the only one who experiences this. It mostly happens when I am using a slate, however, and only sometimes when I'm at the board. I'm hoping someone can offer ideas about it.
