text spaces changes when saved

Whenever we increase the line spacing in a text box and then save it and close that flipchart and go back to open it later it has reverted to the original spacing (prior to the save)
Any thoughts?

Hi Carla,

This issue was mentioned before on the forum back in November. In the end we worked out that it was a bug in the software. I'm not sure if it's been fixed but I'll make sure the appropriate people hear about it,

Just check it isn't a scale thing. Using the Scale function make sure your flipchart is 100%. If the text still misbehaves it is a bug. If it doesn't its a scaling adjustment.

I've just installed the new 3.6 build 117 and this problem has now been 'debugged'/![clap]

Only problem now is that the default tool upon opening AS or a flipchart is the pen (as when V3 was first introduced). Not hard to work around but I'd be keen to see a patch at some stage...

I think there may be a setting you can use to change the default tool used on startup
in preferences/flipchart - default tool on startup

forgive if I'm wrong as I've checked the location of the setting on the pc but I'm sure its on the Mac too.

Go to Preferences - Flipchart. About 3/4 of the way down there is a drop-down box that allows you to change the "Default Tool when opening flipchart." I've attached a picture.
