Wonderful!! Thank you so much for posting an additional link to make it easier for everyone! I know all my schools with Leopard will be super excited for this update... I've been telling them to keep checking in. :D

Hope all is well with you..have not seen you in sometime!
I am a little confused with this posting...we are using Activstudio 3.0.96 on the MAC. Should we be using 3.5. I am also having problems with leopard and Activstudio..are they not compatible yet?

These links are for downloading the latest version of Activstudio 3.6, this version fully supports Leopard.
For any technical problems I advise that it's best to contact Technical Support.

Thanks to the Promethean team for creating this new version before our computers were changed to Leopard at which point I would have been rendered 'whiteboard-less' (and I don't ever want to go back there).
Having installed via download from the site, how do we get hold of the disks to install to our new computers when they arrive? Who is the Australian reseller for Promethean now that Commander has crumbled?

The full download actually creates a disk image, so you can save it to a disk and install it from there. You could also copy the resources on to the same disk (or another disk if they won't all fit). I've successfully installed Activstudio on new machines using this method.

Apparently there are two distributors now – DH Technology (http://www.dhtechnology.com.au/files/news/DH%20Technology%20gets%20ACTIV%20with%20Promethean %20distribution.pdf) and ASI Solutions (http://www.asi.com.au/public/ViewBNews.aspx?id=84).

We have just recently installed 3.6 and the new driver. We are having issues with the resource library. When searching for images it only shows a few images, i.e., dog, only the three .wav files appeared. Then we go in and reindex the resource library from the shared directory. If we go back into the program and do a new search we get a full search result for dog--about 23 items. If we quit the program and reopen the resource library and do a search on "ActivStudio 3" for dog, we only get the three .wav files. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, please give suggestions for correcting the problem.

The only idea I can offer is that the Index isn't being saved due to network restrictions.

The links don't seem to be working now. Is there another place to get ActivStudio? I have a PPC Mac and the new ActivInspire won't run on it.

The links aren't working, and I'm kind of desperate. I have a MAC and I can't find any link to download and install ActivStudio in my computer. I really need it for my job, can anyone help me?

Activstudio is kinda old stuff now (thus the probably broken link in this thread.) ActivInspire has been out for over a year so I'd recommend that instead. As long as you have an Intel-chip, you should be able to run it on your Mac.
