I received an email from a colleague today (my comments are in square brackets:

"A collegue and I have been using your flipchart Graph Paper and Tables Master (downloaded fromThe Interactive Whiteboard website [interactivemaths.net]). It's a wonderful creation but on my Mac I don't seem to be able to do the things my collegue can on her PC.

When I annotate on the graph paper it doesn't stick [I used containers to create stickies] , and I can't reproduce many copies of each [this is Drag a Copy].

Also the page notes appear to be gobbledegook on the Mac.

Any ideas about this?"

Can a Mac user pleae let me know if these are possible in the Mac version of ActivStudio 3, and if the page notes should transfer across from the PC version? I will pass on any replies to her (and suggest that she joins the forum). TIA.

Cheers

Rex

Hi Rex --

I received an email from a colleague today (my comments are in square brackets:

"A collegue and I have been using your flipchart Graph Paper and Tables Master (downloaded fromThe Interactive Whiteboard website [interactivemaths.net]). It's a wonderful creation but on my Mac I don't seem to be able to do the things my collegue can on her PC.

When I annotate on the graph paper it doesn't stick [I used containers to create stickies] , and I can't reproduce many copies of each [this is Drag a Copy].

I believe annotations not sticking to containers is a known issue in the Mac version that has been fixed in 3.6 (at least I was told it would be.)

Also the page notes appear to be gobbledegook on the Mac.

Any ideas about this?" .

I've noticed the same thing on flipcharts I download from the forum. I think this has something to do with Unicode fonts on the PC version, although I thought the Mac version was supposed to be Unicode too starting with Version 3.

The page notes are actually in there, just buried inside a bunch of what looks like html tags.
