I can not wait until I can get my certificate for the mac foundation course... I have the pc certificate, but I can't until I get the update for leopard... How close, do we have a date? I know I have made a lot of fuss over this, but.. what can I do?

I think you can go ahead and take the course even if you don't have the software yet.

Lisa's correct you do not need the software to complete the course as all tutorials and assessments are web based.
