I am currently using Activstudio 2.5 Build 70 on a Mac OS X 10.4.8.
Are there any updates?

I'm using 3.0 build 96!

Not sure which country you're from. If you could post it, I can find out how you can get the update!

I also understand there should be a new Mac release soon that will support the latest OS (which I do not have.)

See if this link won't get you there.

Once you get to version 3, they have this thing called "The Dashboard" which is really cool.

It is web-aware and on the support tab it talks through the web to see if you have the latest version.

I love it!

Getting to 3 isn't the simple step but once you're there, updating is quick and easy.

The good news is that 3.6 is due any day now for Leopard

Wendy,

Call Promethean HQ in Atlanta and request a copy of 3.0 or email me and I will get one to you....

I have been beta testing 3.6 on Leopard and it's pretty sweet!

Later...

A thread in the PC forum mentions that the update for Mac will include Drag a Copy (and maybe spellcheck, as it does for PC?). Is 3.6 only designed for Leopard or will I get these benefits on my machine running Tiger? I would be pretty disappointed to miss out on these features - it will be some time before my district moves to Leopard.

Hi Tom --

I've been told that 3.6 will also run on Tiger.

Thanks June - that's great news! Now I can be unbridled in my anticipation of this update (not language I often use when speaking of software!).

It looks like the release Mac update has been pushed back.

From that same thread in the PC forum (http://www.prometheanplanet.com/common/html/vb_forum/showthread.php?p=27587#post27587):
The new version will be functional on all the big cats :D. We have had one or two unexpected issues to fix and expect it at the end of January all being well.

A real shame as I was hoping to move to Leopard from the beginning of the school year.
