Well, I really miss ACTIVstudio, I really miss it... I know I am complaining... but I really want to get back to my ACTIVstudio 3... Any news so far?

I'm really hoping we'll see it soon. It's the only thing I'm waiting on before finalizing the software image for the beginning of the school year.
There's not much point creating new threads… I'm sure they'll release it as soon as they can :) A release date would be helpful though.
What was it that made you upgrade to Leopard given the incompatibility?

Hi,
I will reply to this also. My district was not made aware of the incompatibilty issue until after the change over. I teach higher math classes at a public high school and have become so dependent on the software and the board to help the kids visualize difficult concepts that myself and my students are desperate to get it back.
I would assume in the future wherever the confusion originated from, either our district or promethean, that a more concerted effort would be made to communicate news and information.
I can understand that there will always be small issues, but this was major because it basically put us out of commission entirely. It was not as if only a few functions were disabled.
PLEASE PLEASE HURRY before we start graphing in 3 dimensions.

I only asked because I remembered Joshua asking about Leopard compatibility prior to the release. It's clear looking back at the thread that it took a long while for a response – and that you could have easily upgraded before seeing that response.
Promethean should have been really clear from well before the Leopard release that AS and AP wouldn't work.
I've never had a major OS upgrade go completely smoothly on any platform, and would never change a school over before thoroughly testing all the software that we rely on – AS and AP certainly fall into that category!
