Hi
In the old version you could make an image or text act as a link, is that feature now removed? Do you have to now make an action object and take off the red border?
Is the Link library gone?

Place an image on the f/c page - double click on it and 'object edit' tool strip appears above.
Select 'properties' icon (notepad with red tick)
Dialogue box opens - make sure 'all' radio button is checked and 'actions' in the left hand list.
Click on drop down menu arrow and you'll find quite a range of things you can assign to the object e.g. 'open document or file' to make it play a movie. (Click on the three dots to browse and assign the document or file)
Regarding you q. on links - these have disappeared into the resource library (available in f/c mode as the 'pile of books' icon under the page navigation tools. You'll see icons for sounds and videos.
Hope this helps

OK, things are improving, but I use a lot of URLs. What is the best way of setting them as a link.
I can use the link tool and open up my old link library, then open up the url and then copy it and then paste it in to the 3 dot line, but it is a bit long winded.

ASv1 still supports ASv1 link libraries for launching links, but NOT for editing them.
In the Toolstore, under Presentation Tools, you will see the Links tool. Add this to your toolbox. Click it and the Link List window will open. Click on the "M" (menu) button on the Link List window, then choose "Open" from the menu. You will then be prompted to open a Link Library from your "My Link Libraries" folder.
You should then be able to access your v1 URL links.
ASv2 promotes the use of the Resource Library launching links.
In the library there is the "My WEB Links" folder for storing URL shortcuts.
To create a URL shortcut, open the ACTIV WEB Browser. Browse to a URL. Click the "Links" tool on the Browser Toolbar and choose "Save WEB Link To.."
