different installation packages

Can anyone tell me why we have got two different installation packages for activprimary when accessing the US and UK branches(question mark). The American one contains 3 resource pack collections and 3 resource pack flipcharts. The British one features 4 resource packs and 2 video packs...
Can I download the American packs and the two video packs from the British package (question mark)

The US software is slightly different to the UK version due to some spelling variations and of course the resources are relevant to the different nations as well.
