Cannot open file

I use Activprimary 3 very successfully in the classroom but over the past few days 2 of my 'homemade' flipcharts will not open. I get the first page and then instantly get a message saying 'cannot open fie'.
I've not changed the way I set them up and always save them in the same place..I'm getting very frustrated now since they are units of work for this half term and involved a lot of research to complete!!
I now face having to start from scratch...any ideas anyone?
I have been to the knowledge base but found nothing.

Thanks for your reply, I've just been having a fiddle about and can open them from within Ativprimary3 but can't use them to 'launch' the software as it were...that'll do for now....Im still intrigued though!

Right click on the flipchart icon and see what program is assigned (or may be assigned as default) when you click Open With ...
